Cobblestone Series
The “Cobblestone Series” is the most popular of our range and is our unique signature block. Each block is individually hand crafted, with slight variations of curved faces and dimensions inherent to the hand-made process. This variation is intentional in order to create the unique cobblestone appearance with the charm and character of the old world. These blocks can be used to fit any setting both rural, surrounded by woods and hills to a modern sustainably designed home. Its applications are limitless. The mortar thickness will also reflect this variation, ranging from 3/8” to ¾”.
There are several advantages to building with the Builderscrete single skin series these include:
- Ease of maintenance, walls are not easily marked or damaged and therefore do not need repairing or re-painting.
- Builderscrete walls can be nailed or screwed into directly. This means that attaching shelving, cupboards, or hanging paintings is incredibly simple.

- BLOCKS for single-leaf – 8” and 12” thick – load bearing frame-free construction.
- INTERIOR BLOCKS – 4” thick we provide similar blocks for your entire interior wall needs.

The key to successfully building Builderscrete® walls is to work to incremental benchmarks.
That is, both the horizontal and vertical courses need to be laid out in increments of “one block plus one mortar joint”, as per the chart below. By strict observance of these increments, the finished wall aesthetics will be maximized, waste eliminated and cost minimized.
